I'll post the current crash report here in case it helps: If you have any possible inkling as to what it could be (either developing on the things I have tried so far or proposing something different) then I would be eternally grateful for your help. I'm unsure if this is even relevant to the problem I'm experiencing.Įssentially, I am completely stuck. I have an Axiom 49 but I never installed any software with it (I got it second hand from the music tech department at school) and if it installed software itself then I do not know where to find it. The only thing I've found that might be a possible lead is a forum post where somebody said it worked after they deleted the bundle software that came with their M-Audio Axiom keyboard. Somebody said they had fixed the crash by uninstalling Audacity so I duly did that (I also removed Spotify, as I had installed it recently and didn't know if that was related). I have also deleted the preference list multiple times and re-started repeatedly but to no avail. This made it (possibly?) get slightly further with the startup but the same thing still happened. A lot of stuff on the internet seemed to suggest that it could be sorted by deleting audio unit plugins so (as I have nothing I am particularly fond of) I deleted the entire "Audio" folder in the Library. I read something about how Logic might have accidentally started opening itself in 32-bit mode but when I went on "Get Info," it didn't have any options relating to this. I tried re-installing Logic which made it come up with the "downloading essential sounds and loops" screen but when I click to skip the download it just does the same thing. Sometimes I even manage to get past the "scanning audio units stage" but it always ends with the "ignore/ report/ reopen" window.
